Rush Limbaugh in ‘See, I Told You So’ page 69 wrote and I heartily agree, that the pilgrims were fleeing ecclesiastical authority. You see, the Pilgrims were fleeing CHURCH AND STATE RULE. Today though, some wannabe Christians demand our Government be Christian. Just what the pilgrims were fleeing !!!
