		<description>Great post, John. This makes me wonder where the visionaries went. In From The Earth To The Moon, Jules Verne wrote about astronauts who launched from Florida, circled the moon, and made splashdown in the ocean where they were recovered. He wrote it in 1865. 

I guess Good science fiction is scientifically accurate except for where it deliberately violates the laws of physics. George Lucas certainly violated them, all right.</description>
