What was so amazing about my wife’s graduation ceremony was the dominion of ‘GOD’ in the proceedings. We opened this secular gathering with a prayer. Everyone (’cept a few) thanked GOD for their ability to graduate. It was like going to freakin’ church!! Several testimonies of ‘thank you Jesus, beginning and ending prayer. A few Songs of Christian Dominionist. Why does no one think it strange that everywhere you turn, the dogma is waiting to engulf you.

We are all broken people because, on faith, as children, we took for granted that our care-givers would never have lied to us. Unbeknown to them however, simply by repeating what they themselves had been told by their own care-givers, they actually did lie to us.

Much later,….in the west, Religion and Marriage merged, in 1215. The Magna Charta was used to create a diversion and nobody noticed the change in a person’s status that religious marriage brought about. Two parents replaced the Clan as care-givers.Religion is the worst ‘drug’ of all. It is founded in fear and solidly based on self-serving greed (the reward is ‘going to heaven’). As with any other drug which confuses the brain, a person cannot be helped to kick the habit unless they, themselves, want to be sober. With religion, however, one is never banished from general society for being ‘bad’ as happens with other intoxicants; just the opposite is true. One is most often praised and generously rewarded for being ‘out of their mind’ (faith-based).
Most people love their daily pain more than the unknown they fear.
