As every parent knows, Valentine’s Day has become primarily a children’s holiday. Every February, we buy or make cards for our kids’ friends, siblings or their big crush. I wanted to make Valentine’s Day synonymous with another kind of giving too, so I created Save the Children’s Valentine’s Day project to help get kids thinking about kids who are just like them but may be living in less fortunate circumstances. Sales of the Valentine’s cards benefit the work of Save the Children here in the United States.
