Ever had a Bad Hair Day? I sure do seem to have many of them lately… Well, in literal terms at least!
The results of the Indian elections are out and as expected the Congress has won.
Most people are relieved as this means current Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (aka SMS / Sardar Manmohan Singh) will be PM again for a second term, the only other PM besides Nehru to have achieved this feat.
When I first saw the footage of SMS videos being played on news channels with the ‘Singh is King’ song in the background, I thought it was quite cheesy and clichéd. But I’ve got to admit the phrase does have a nice ring to it especially since our king in question (SMS) does not have any king-ish airs about him.
He’s king indeed…
The Great Indian Elections of 2009 are about to come to a close and the results will be out soon.
Everyone is waiting to find out who will make it to the PM’s post!
