I am happy to share my experience of my latest toon process step by step how I have done. I hope that it might be useful to new users for creating such kind of images by using DoodleR and also can know how effective the DoodleR is :o)

So here it goes:

step 1:

First, I drew outline of the picture. For this, you could choose transparency (difficult to say how much value exactly) where you could get an idea of your image. Consequently, you can easily start doing shading process.

step 2:

Don’t worry about shading. Just use slightly darker outline color that you used for step1, with brush blur option (really effective panel, but could have got value. so that we could easily get same blue value next time as well). Place shading wherever applicable.

step 3:

After step2, you just select darker shade or adjust the transparency according to your requirements and apply color on darker portions.

step 4:

Reduce transparency again and apply on more darker portions. Moreover, don’t forget to reduce the brush size, so that you could handle this part easily and effectively. Here you would almost get your image.

Always remember, light and dark portions are important in any images as they would give life to them.

step 5:

Here it comes :o)

Must do: But don’t forget to save each steps. Even if you save 3 times in each steps it would give better results, I believe :o)
