We’ve seen a lot of feedback and discussions related to offensive comments and the possibility of a comment moderation feature at ToonDoo (See related discussions: Comment approval option for ‘toon makers?, Offensive Comments, Most offensive comment to date… and JELLO_LADY IS SPAMMIN.)

We’ve taken all such feedback into account. I’m happy to announce the launch of a new comment moderation feature at ToonDoo!

This feature aims at helping you deal with spam and offensive comments. Every time a fellow Dooer comments on your toon, you will be presented with the following options via email:

-Accept this comment only
-Accept this comment and all future comments from this Dooer
-Reject this comment only
-Reject this comment and all future comments from this Dooer

Note however, that while bringing comment moderation into effect, we have kept in mind previous commenting relationships between ToonDooers. So, comments will automatically be published for all those ToonDooers who have previously commented on your toons and vice-versa. In case such a previous commenting relationship exists, the comment will be published and you will only be presented with the latter two Reject options.
