TwonDoo!

Hi Dudes and Dudettes,

ToonDoo is now Twondoo!

That’s right, we’ve completed two glorious years of empowering creativity and fun with comic strips.

Thanks to all ToonDooers for your patronage and encouragement. As we celebrate our second anniversary, we’d also like to give you some more reasons to celebrate…

The first reason is TraitR-v2, an advanced version of the ToonDoo Avatar Creator. This much-awaited advanced version takes into account TraitR related feedback from many ToonDooers.

We’re very sure that TraitR-v2 will take character design and customization to a whole new level at ToonDoo!

And that’s not all folks!

A second reason for celebration is the Bubble Bauble, a bubbly space where you can read alerts about activity related to your toons.
Now, you don’t need to check your email just to find out who’s cheering, commenting or favorite-ing your toons. You can do all that, right here with the Bubble Bauble!

Have fun with our Birthday goodies!

Tickle your friends, Privately!

Fun is all about context, they say.
And, we saw it quite often, at http://www.toondoo.com, where there were toons that meant literally nothing to us (the out-of-context-audience) but attracted a lot of views and dozens of comments from the insiders, those who knew the context.

For example, consider this ToonDoo.

So, we decided to provide a cool new feature - the Private Share.
So, from now on, you can do three things with your ToonDoo.

  • Publish it to the world, for all to see, and enjoy!
  • Publish to a closed group community, identified by a set of email addresses you specify, so that you can crack private jokes and hurl choice billingsgate at your closed group of enemies!
  • Keep it private to yourself (though why you would want to do that is currently beyond our grasp).

Have fun, and spread the word.

P.S:- Like anything else on the web, this is not TRULY PRIVATE. We are not locking it up with a password, it is just a devilishly complex long-garbled-URL. So, keep that in mind! You can’t find it via Search, you won’t get this caught in Google, but it is not ungettable for the really focused double-fanatic hacker!
